After completing a Masters Degree in Economics, I worked for 10 years in leadership and management positions at the UN Development Programme and other UN organizations. In 2001, I completed a study programme in process consultation. Several other trainings in specific consultation and facilitation methods followed. In 2004, I started my consulting and coaching practice and have since worked with governments, international organizations and individuals in more than 20 countries in Asia, Africa and Europe.
Through my practice as a manager and as a consultant, I have gathered „field competence“ in governance, public sector management and international development. This expertise is helpful when working with clients operating in those fields, but it does not guarantee lasting results and I use it sparingly. Swift and lasting change, in my experience, requires getting clients back in touch with their own resources – not more and not less. This is my main focus when coaching, and consulting with clients.
